COATS AND HATS
When you arrive please check-in at the front desk, then head to our coat closet to hang your coats and hats before you explore all the museum has to offer. Any items you leave in the coatroom are there at your risk, so please don’t leave valuables in the coat area.
ACCESSIBILITY
Each level of MDM is fully handicap accessible via elevators in the back left corner of the museum.
FOOD AND DRINK
Food and drink are not permitted in the exhibit areas, but we welcome lunches in our snack room on the second floor. Feel free to bring your lunch and spend the whole day! Or explore the fabulous lunch spots in downtown Bangor and return to the museum as you wish – your pass allows you to come and go all day.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located on the first and second floors of the museum.
DOWNTOWN BANGOR
While you’re in the area, please visit some of the charming shops and restaurants our fine city has to offer. Your admission allows you to come in and out of the Museum all day, giving you the freedom to arrive in the morning, play, learn, discover, go out for an hour of lunch and window shopping, then come back to the Museum in the afternoon for another serving of play, learning, and discovery.
